Low-Dose Naltrexone

Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a unique treatment option that uses naltrexone at doses much lower than its traditional use. At low doses, LDN is thought to temporarily influence opioid receptors and may help modulate the body’s immune and inflammatory responses. It is sometimes used as part of an individualized treatment plan for people experiencing chronic inflammation, certain autoimmune conditions, persistent pain, or other symptoms that may affect overall well-being.

Treatment typically begins with a very low dose that is gradually increased based on your response and tolerance. Because LDN is used off-label for many of these purposes, results vary, and it is not appropriate for everyone (particularly people currently taking opioid medications).
